Acute stroke care services

The four acute trusts are working together to develop a networked model of acute stroke care.

This multimillion pound investment in staff, facilities and equipment over the next three years will strengthen services in hospital and community settings, improving health outcomes for those who have had a stroke.

This development – which has been made possible through working together – will benefit patients across the whole of Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Elaine Day, Integrated Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Delivery Network Manager, speaks about the benefits of collaboration for colleagues and patients in a short video here: https://youtu.be/CIj8N-8YQWY
